While experiencing some amazing days in Ibiza my friend and I chilling out at the most fanciest hotels and sipping on the most expensive drinks while relaxing watching the sun set in San Antonio there was so many fun activities involved as well during our girls trip.

Let's Explore Ibiza

Ibiza is known for some of the best night clubs in Europe hosting some of the most famous DJ's including Sven Vath, and David Guetta making it the perfect destination for clubbers who are wanting to party on the dance floor all night. However, the isles have so much more to offer from some of the best world class beaches and beautiful landscape with a nice laid back way of life, you can certainly experience this is Ibiza.

Having stayed on the northern side of the island there was many lovely beaches just walking distance from our hotel however these are some of the top beaches I highly recommend visiting.

Beaches to Visit in Ibiza

Cala Saladeta

If you decide to stay in San Antonio this is one of the most picturistic beach you would find on this side of the island. Located just a quick 10 minutes drive out of San Antonio on google map this beach  is clambering over the rock and one must make their way down to the crystal clear waters of Cala. This was on my list of thing to do there and it was surely worth the experience just looking at the lily blue waters and listening to the waves on the shore all day.

If you decide to visit Cala be sure to wear comfortable shoes for climbing.

Playa es Pouet

Topless in Playa es Pouet Beach Ibiza

Located just a 10 minutes walk from Hotel Puchet and a 20 minutes walk from the main areas of San Antonio.

Playa es Pouet is not as private compared to other beaches on the island, located just along the main street with a little fence separating the beach from the main street Playa es Pouet was the most visited beach by my friend and I. For a start its location being easily accessible to walk too the beach is also located near many shops, bars and restaurants making it the perfect spot for relaxing all day and grabbing food nearby when hungry.

The beach is less crowded compared to others and provide all amenities including showers, toilets, parasols and sun lounger for 7 euros available from 9am-6pm. If you fancy skiing and up for partaking in a little water sports there is a water sports company "Ski Santi" located right on the beach area that has many options of skiing with prices ranging from 15 euros.

Playa es Pouet was one of the best nearby beaches I've been too not only did it provided all amenities one may need it featured soft white sand that your feet sink in when walking not to mention the water is clean and crystal blue for bathing and offered a lovely view of the sea compared to other beaches nearby that looks out into the marina or town. One of the best things I enjoyed in Playa you can also walk topless on this beach as it was partially a nude beach as well. There were many women walking around topless and playing games with their families including myself.

I hugely recommend visiting Playa es Pouet if one decides to visit this side of the island. It is centrally located near the main areas of San Antonio but much nicer than other beaches located in the center of town, it also provides a lovely view and offers families traveling with kids a playground to help keep the them amused.

Formentera

If you decide to visit Ibiza, Formentera is definitely the most talked about islands that one must visit if they are in Ibiza for an extent period of time. Located just 20 minutes away from Ibiza by fast ferry Formentera is the perfect place for those wanting that idyllic beach holiday.

Being the smallest of the Balearic Islands just 84 square kilometers, Formentera offers travelers a laidback atmosphere with a stretch of breathtaking white sandy beaches with crystal clear blue waters and many restaurant that serve snacks and drinks near by.

Located on the isles, "Es Pujols" the only village which features some lovely beach resorts and streets fill with bars and little clubs that opens until 2am.

I was not given the opportunity to visit Formentera but I heard all about the beautiful Balearic Island from islanders that live in Ibiza and I'll surely visit there on my next trip in 2020 to Ibiza.

Ibiza Old Town

In the Old Town of Evissa

Not only is Ibiza full of lovely beaches to sunbathe and relax in all day the island has many old towns that tells some amazing stories that take you back to the many years of history.

Visiting Ibiza town one can find something for everyone there are a lot of small boutiques and high end shops around, art galleries, history museum and it even houses the famous Citadel of Dalt Vila. Ibiza Town is the largest and capital of the island and its a port city overlooking the Mediterranean  sea.

This part of the isles or Evissa as it is called host an amazing nightlife and world class restaurants overlooking the old town with many bars to choose from, there is also the world famous Pacha Nightclub  that the best DJ's play in summer.

I had such and amazing time visiting Evissa and there was such a diverse crowd visiting here, I also had the opportunity to get some amazing pictures in the old town from Natalie Elite Photography  who I highly recommend to contact during your stay there. Her english is not amazing when speaking but she is a great photographer and takes some amazing images.

I will defiantly visit more of this Town when I travel to Ibiza again.
